There are some dishes that are just absolutely to-die-for. You know, the ones you get a craving for out of nowhere, when you are in your sweats, lounging in the comfort of your own home – and realize you can never re-create as good as the real thing. The Colonel Sanders Secret Recipe at KFC is one of these. They include KFC grilled chicken recipe, KFC popcorn chicken recipe, KFC secret recipe to crispy chicken, to name a few.

So one night, I talked myself into trying to make this delectable dish. I decided to try the KFC website for some helpful hints – only to grow more intimidated! The secret recipe is protected by high-tech security measures and locked away in a safe somewhere!

Instead of growing discouraged, I decided to give Colonel Sanders a run for his money. I was bound and determined to recreat the secret recipe. I did not want to "come close" or settle for less.
